STEP 1 - Know your boundaries & rights
Visit http://www.adflegal.org/issues/religious-freedom/k-12/key-issues/students-rights
step 2 - find a teacher that will allow you to use their room
We encourage you to start off on the right foot with your school administrator and teachers.  With that said, find a teacher in your school that would allow you to use his or her room for a student led bible study, and explain to your teacher that you would like to be able to use his or her room for a student led bible study group once per week and wondered if it would be ok with them.
step 3 - pick a start date
After you have permission from a teacher to use their classroom, you will need parent permission for your friends to attend.  Click the link to print off permission slips.permission_slip.docx
STEP 4 - invite your friends
After you have a classroom to use, pick your start date, and print off the permission slips, print off the invitation and hand them out to your friends along with the permission slip.  Have them bring their permission slips with them to your first meeting.  Click the link for the invitation to print.student_led_invitation.pdf
STEP 5 - REGISTER ON THE STUDENT LED WEBSITE
Click this link:  Student Registration
STEP 6 - GET GOING!
After you register, you will be emailed a user name and password to access the free content to use at your student led bible study.  You can access material from CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) CRU has a cool curriculum from new to your faith (THRIVE 1.0) covering the basics of your Christian faith, to deeper stuff for the growing Christian (THRIVE 2.0 & 3.0)  Each study contains a short video to watch on your phone or other device, study discussion questions, challenges for your group, and prayer time.  You can also access FREE content from Dare 2 Share Ministries.  These guys specialize in sharing your faith.  (EVANGELISM)  Topics like developing your testimony, and sharing your story with others.  As well as how to share the message of Salvation to the world.  In addition you will be able to access other videos and discussion questions from other youth pastors and teachers that cover topics like:  HOW TO STUDY YOUR BIBLE - HOW TO DEFEND YOUR FAITH - PRAYER - HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS (dating, family, and friends) - CHARACTER STUDIES - BIBLE STUDIES BY BOOKS IN THE BIBLE & much more as we continue to add content to this site.
