But somewhere along the way, you reached out to Jesus...
and that changes everything.
So... what just happened?
Following Jesus isn’t about becoming perfect overnight. It’s not pretending you suddenly have all the answers.
It’s the beginning of a brand new journey.
“My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
John 10:10
Jesus came to bring life, hope, forgiveness, peace, and restoration to a broken world.
Because the truth is… something in our world is broken. We feel it everywhere:
In relationships. In anxiety. In guilt. In loneliness. In the constant feeling that something isn’t the way it’s supposed to be.
The Bible calls this brokenness sin. And every one of us has experienced it.
THE GOOD NEWS
God didn’t walk away from us.
He came for us
Jesus did what we could never do. He lived the life we couldn't live -- fully perfect, fully without sin.
Then He willingly went to the cross and took the weight of our sin upon himself.
“God showed his great love for us by sending
Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
ROMANS 5:8
Because of Jesus, forgiveness is now available to anyone who trusts Him.
Not because we earned it. Not because we cleaned ourselves up first. Not because we "became religious enough."
It's a gift
WHAT THIS MEANS
This is the trailhead.
You are forgiven.
You are loved.
You are no longer walking alone.
And your journey with God has officially begun.
