Start a relationship with Christ
"HAS CHRIST FORGIVEN ME?"
God's Purpose:  Peace & Eternal Life
Our Problem:  Sin & Separation
God's Remedy:  The Cross
Our Response:  Receive & Trust Christ

Who is jesus?

In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” Salvation for any person is found through, Jesus and Jesus alone.  Jesus is the second person of the Trinity (God the Son) which means He has always been, is, and always will be fully God. In His love, He chose to come to this earth as a human and to die on a cross to pay the penalty for our sin in full. He then rose from the dead and, as a result, is the only way to heaven. When we put our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, we are forgiven and we receive God’s free gift of eternal life

WHy should i decide to be a christian

Becoming a Christian takes place when I realize that I am a sinner and that my sin separates me from God and deserves to be punished. As I result, I make the decision to put my faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus alone for the forgiveness of my sin and my eternity in heaven. This is the only way to get to heaven. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father unless they come through me. The Bible teaches that he who has the Son of God has eternal life but he who does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life.

What happens when I die?

Death is the separation of the soul from the body. Your body is not the real you – it is simply the house the real you lives in on this earth. When your body dies it is buried or cremated but your soul lives in for eternity in one of two places. For the person who has put their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, their soul immediately goes to heaven. The Bible says that for the Christian to be absent from the body (that is death) is to be present with the Lord. For those who have not put their faith in Jesus, the Bible teaches that their sin must be punished and sin against an eternal God is deserving of eternal punishment in a literal place called hell.
