Family Connection Foundation
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Ken and Sharon Wade have been in Asian ministries since 1995. Since 2005 they have been in Thailand serving with the Family Connection Foundation.

serving in Tanzania, Africa
Imagine you had appendicitis and needed life-saving surgery. and the nearest surgeon was two days away. That is the reality for millions of people across Africa. In Tanzania, there are roughly 110 surgeons of any kind for over 45 million people. Dr. Halter is a general surgeon serving in Tanzania to train surgeons in order to fill that gap. God tells us in Micah 6:8 to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God. This is what compels us to go, to meet the needs of the poor and to be part of God's work in transforming a nation.
God directed Dave & Sarah to the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS), which trains, mentors and disciples African surgeons who love Jesus, see themselves as missionaries, and are committed to serving their own people with high quality surgical care. Dave will be working with a team of Tanzanian surgeons in Arusha to develop a surgery residency program. By serving in this capacity, Dave is part of developing a sustainable surgical workforce and leaving a legacy to change a country that we love.

The Chosen Ranch is a Christian Home in Alcona County giving abused, abandoned, neglected and homeless children a home! All of us, each and every one of us, knows that there are children out there that are being horribly abused and neglected. Chosen Ranch is not a foster or temporary home. It is a permanent home for these children. When they come to the ranch, they are, above all else, loved. They come to the ranch with nothing, and become a part of our family as soon as they walk in the door.
